We Train Your Puppy For You
Our Puppy Residential Training School is a specialised program where your puppy can stay with one of our highly experienced trainers at VonKebles Dog Training. We provide comprehensive training to give your puppy a strong foundation in manners and obedience, allowing you and your family to continue building upon this training throughout your lives together.
Let VonKebles Dog Training take care of the initial hard work so you can enjoy a well-behaved and trained puppy without the hassle. Our skilled trainers will guide your puppy through various exercises and activities to ensure they develop the necessary skills for a successful future.
During the puppy residential training, we focus on a range of essential areas, including:
- Establishing a following state of mind
- Utilising balanced methods combined with appropriate corrections
- Addressing reactivity towards people, other dogs, and various stimuli
- Building a foundation for recall
- Promoting proper socialisation and desired behaviour
- Teaching loose-leash walking
- Developing good manners, including threshold training and travelling
- Introducing crate training
- Engaging with your puppy through tricks, commands, and play
- Educating on the correct use of training equipment
In addition to the training, your puppy will also have ample exercise and interaction opportunities with our own dogs, promoting correct socialisation and play.
To ensure noticeable progress in your puppy, we recommend a minimum duration of five weeks for our Puppy Residential Training package. Upon booking, a 40% deposit is required, with the remaining balance due before or on the day of your puppy’s stay. Prior to booking, you will have the opportunity to meet with one of our trainers for a discussion, allowing you to feel confident in entrusting your pet to us and giving us a chance to assess the suitability of your puppy for this training program.
Please note that our Puppy Residential Training is suitable for puppies up to six months old and fully vaccinated. For puppies older than six months, we recommend considering Residential Training Program.
During your puppy’s stay, we provide regular progress reports to keep you informed and assured of their well-being. We may also record video clips and share them on our social media channels, unless you specify otherwise at the time of booking.
Upon completion of the residential puppy training, we will conduct an inclusive handover session. We will demonstrate the accomplishments, accompany you on a dog walk, and provide guidance on how to maintain and reinforce what your puppy has learned.
To further advance your puppy’s training, you have the option to book additional top-up lessons or plan future residential stays, such as during your next holiday.
